when we moved here to washington, sean left behind his beloved boston sports teams….and all the hoopla that comes with being a fan….the talk radio, the every other person on the street wearing a jersey/shirt, etc. (it sure isn’t like that here!!)
so he has to make due with seeing his teams when they come to town, which isn’t even every year with the patriots
2 weeks ago, the red sox were in town and we had great seats for the game
and it was dylan’s first game – a huge event in a boston sports fan life
he was all decked out in his jersey (given to him by our wonderful family back east who keep him outfitted!) and hat and he carried his monkey (?)
at the last minute, our good friend/neighbor mike called and offered us tickets to go to the att&t luxury suite to watch the game
if we couldn’t be at fenway, this was the next best thing
we had a wonderful night
