at the start of the winter we had some pretty cold weather for around here….and even some snow. enough for 3 snow days before christmas even hit. there was SO much talk of it being a winter for the record books.
well, it seems like the pacific northwest was one of the only places in the country spared a horrendous winter this year. we couldn’t believe the pictures of the snow in boston in chicago! everyone must have been going stir crazy!
here were our beds on the 9th of february (I had completely forgotten I planted these bulbs last fall!!)
and here we were last week
it didn’t last very long, but it was fun for the kids for about 1/2 day. luckily they were off school for winter break so they didn’t miss another day….as it is their last day is june 20th!
but you’ll hear me complaining come may when we are still freezing with 50 degree temps. when the rest of the country is enjoying summer!
is there any part of the country with perfect weather?
we are taking a break from karate for a bit and BBall ends with the last game this weekend. it’s been a great season! he’s decided not to do baseball, but stick with karate and maybe take some swimming lessons again.
I have little miss makena with me a lot this month, so things will be busier than normal around here
OMG are those tulips??? I can't see any of those if my flower beds because unless they are hiding underwater (yay for temperature rising, snow melting, rain falling, and my yard flooding). I can't wait to see how beautiful your bulbs are when they bloom :)
