my brother mark and my nephew kyle came up from southern california last weekend. it was a quick visit, but a great one. we hadn’t seen them in a very long time.
dylan and kyle took no time at all in getting re-acquainted. these days the power of nintendo ds brings all 7 year old boys together.
the next day we all met at the boeing museum of flight and had fun wandering around looking at all the planes. then we all caravanned back to our house for a big dinner.
saturday was spent on vashon island just hanging out. it was a beautiful day, although a tad cold….but that didn’t stop the kids from having a blast outside.
kyle loves grandad’s boat, so on sunday we all went aboard and cruised around lake washington. it was a fun, beautiful day on the lake.
this summer we are renting a house for a week in july on lake chelan. it will be the first time we have all been together! it will be nice to have jeannie and peyton here with us (they didn’t come up for this trip).
we are all really looking forward to it!
