we have had a houseful since the end of october. our good friends and next door neighbors moved back after being in south carolina for the past 18 months. they were supposed to stay with us just a week and move back into their home (they had rented it) november 1st, but their renters decided they didn’t want to treat property that wasn’t theirs with respect.
so, these past weeks ours friends have had to put in new carpet throughout the house, paint, and redo the hardwood floors. so they’ve continued staying with us for the time being.
they are a family of 6 – mom, dad, 3 boys and a baby girl (6 yrs. and under).
crazy town i’m calling it….but that’s what friends are for

my beautiful cousin jodi got married. it was dylan and sofie’s first wedding, we had such a fun time!
dylan saved his money and bought his first lego set on his own
amid all the craziness, i’ve been watching baby girl makena here and there
it’s going great…..and someone is an amazing helper!
what keeps me going
when we aren’t playing monopoly, this is close second for favorite – Quirkle. it’s a GREAT thinking game….perfect for our math boy
and finally…..look what appeared today!
school’s already cancelled for tomorrow. we have a sled I bought last year that gathered dust and hopefully he’ll wear the snow pants I picked up about a month ago! the kids are so excited…..we barely had one flake last year. everyone is saying it’s going to be a tough winter.
sean had a 4 hour commute home….this state doesn’t know how to sand/salt/plow…..and he still smiled while shoveling…..I think he secretly misses it a little bit. either that or he was so happy our driveway is sooooo much shorter than in MA.
we’ll be going to my mom’s for thanksgiving
as always, there is so much to be thankful for
