soccer season has begun
this past saturday was the kick-off jamboree and they played 2 half games – 2 different teams
dylan scored the first goal in both games – woo hoo!
his run to midfield after his first goal - oh was he ever fired up!
sean helped out by acting as “ref”
dylan loves playing goalie….although my heart was going crazy every time they got near him….too much pressure for this mom!
he didn’t let any goals get past him though…..cool as a cucumber
“bring it on” he told me when I asked him if he was nervous
his coach is fantastic and is really working them hard with lots of great drills and lots of running
I sure like that…..especially at bedtime…..between school and soccer practice, this boy is actually tired! I never thought I would see the day
we are looking forward to great season…..now lets just hope the rain holds off…..oh well, I didn’t buy my boots for nothin’!
