like everyone else, we’ve been doing a lot of decorating around here over the last week. each year seems to look slightly different from the year before. dylan loves going through all the tubs of decorations and his exclamations of delight as he pulls everything out just makes my heart so happy.
we’ve had some great weather, ie…no rain….so everyone in our neighborhood has been hard at work getting their outside lights up. it looks wonderful as you drive through. sean did a great job with our house, as usual. we bought a new big angel and again, the deer seem to be in different places each year! it seems a lot of folks are going with colored lights lately, but I still prefer the nice, simple white lights.
our next door neighbors have quite the display and today when dylan commented on how they have so many more lights than us (complete with music playing!)….I replied….let me tell you about the saying “Less is more”.

ahhhh……relaxation at last!
