I am so very.very.very.very tired of this:
That was yesterday afternoon. Every other place in the US has beautiful summer weather. Oh not us. Oh No.
I know I should know our weather is going to be like this every year, but every year all we do is complain. And wish we lived in Arizona. Check back in August!
This was last night during the Celtics / Lakers game:
We kept looking for cousin Alex, but we couldn’t see him up in the rafters. Our fingers are crossed they go all the way.
This is the little pile in front of the fireplace. I step on legos numerous times a day…in various states of construction and battles…they are everywhere! I know one day I will look back miss them.
This week we went Roller Skating for a party that school put on. It was for the “Good Readers Program”. I only got a picture of him putting on his skates because the rest of time I was keeping him upright! Needless to say….we are done with skating for a while.
If you are looking for a good next book, I highly recommend this book. It’s historical fiction, set in Seattle. A WONDERFUL read!

The last day of school is Wednesday and we have sun on the horizon for the next week. Oh happy day!
Yeah, you really don't want to live in Arizona. I have relative and a friend that live there. While warm and dry sounds good in theory, that warm and that dry are pretty obnoxious. I lived there for six weeks when I was a teenager and it was hideous. Especially when it starts getting to be 115-120 and 5% humidity.
ReplyDeleteBless your heart!!! It has been so rainy here that the headlines on our paper yesterday said, "Seattle called, it wants its weather back". I am sure the sun will come back soon sweetie!!! I loved the lego pictures...aww...you will SO look back missing them, makes me want to cry thinking of that! thinking of you daily and missing you!! love you!!
ReplyDeleteThis post made me smile :)
ReplyDeletewhat is it with boys and all those small bits and pieces...they get everywhere!!! ugh! But yes we will miss them one day....
And your weather....I keep hearing Kim talk about it!!!
Enjoyed your "ramblings"....happy week-end! Xo
